Alligator Resort
2016
As many Floridian golfers know, the perfect leisure experience is fraught with dangers, and alligators have been known to stop play. Reactor's hole is reconfigured each day, bringing a new arrangement of challenge and danger for the sun-kissed golfers.
An aesthetic obstacle course of crude versions of typical and non-typical hazards that golfers of the world have experienced. These things may stop a decent putt, if you're unlucky. The best golfers, hit the tiny sphere with a stick and transcend the usual distance that is given to sculptural objects. The plane of the golfing hole becomes a stage for the hazards to become characters. All eagerly watched over by Alligator Bop Bag, lurking nearby, and ready to pounce at any given moment.
The Alligator Resort was commissioned as the tenth hole for Doug Fishbone’s Leisure Land Golf.
